Gentle Strength Chair Yoga: Regardless of age, strength, or flexibility, this class invites your body to respond to challenges on its own terms. Encouraging balance, strength, and freedom of movement, through the use of props, including the CHAIR, you’ll feel energized again!
Complimenting the physical practice, Kathie will also introduce the class to the 5 Elements (wood, fire, earth, metal, water) of Chinese Medicine. Understanding these elements and how they interact with our bodies, minds, and emotions creates optimal health and well-being. Each element aligns with a season.
You will learn how to use yoga, breathing, physical exercises, meditation and visualization.
