Shauna Gilsdorf, E-RYT 200, had the privilege of growing up in an intuitive family that valued the healing power of movement. Her paternal grandfather practiced Reflexology and was active until his death at the age of 92. If she had a headache, her grandfather would massage her feet and explain how each area of the foot had the potential to heal. Her aunt studied Reiki and daily demonstrated the art of healing by connecting to something bigger than ourselves. Shauna grew up believing that the inner journey is the ultimate purpose of life and that lead her to yoga.
Shauna is the mother of four children and is happily married to her best friend, Thad. Dedicated to a life of service, she works as a Mental Health Professional on both adolescent and adult psychiatric units. As a yoga instructor, Shauna openly shares her wisdom and teaches from her heart. Her classes will be challenging mentally and physically in a genuinely caring and lighthearted manner. Shauna encourages mindfulness and being present in the moment. She is confident once you begin the yoga journey, you will be a lifelong student. Constantly inspired by her teachers and students, Shauna believes the best teachers remain lifelong students.

Shauna sources the breath as a guide as you flow one pose to the next. In this practice you will focus on the breath and the poses as a portal to stillness. Take a vacation from the “weight” of life that sometimes doesn’t feel even weighty until we soften.
